Virtual Effigy (Livejournal Icon Archive)

I based the layout on another pixel adoption site, in a newspaper-column format. Font: 04_3b.

I pixeled the graphic.  I thought about all the graphics like the buttons in my mom's button drawer in her sewing room.  It was great fun to play in as a child. Font: Plain old Verdana.

I really hated this layout.  It was the first php one I did for this website.  Font: Courier New.

This was based on a really cute greeting card that I had.  I gave it a vaguely Asian feel.  Font: I seem to have lost it in transit sometime.

Still on ImOrca.nu, this layout utilized a screenshot of a very old video game called Mousetrap from the ancient Intellivision game system.  I used the play that game over at my friend Kolby's house.  She had all the cool stuff.  It also utilized a frames layout, drop box navigation, and OCR A Extended font.  The red was easier to read in real life than in the screen shot.

This is based on my own artwork.  It has a tiny tiny frame (not an iframe!) in the fishbowl. I think might still be my favorite layout. Font: Futura.

The menu and title lines were a BITCH to get to work.  But I really loved how they finally turned out.  Image was a Bruce Timm illustration of Batgirl.  Font: Barrett Iron Work, Barrett Suspended.

Originally this was a mere tables layout with links in it, until I converted to linkster.  Features a scan from Harry Potter by Marie Gran Pre.  Font: Harry Potter.

I pixelated the picture from a photo of our actual house. Font: Verdana.

I put together all the php scripts I could get my hands on to manage this puppy.  Still using the charm bracelet pixel image, mostly 'cause I love it. Font: Tahoma.

This was the first layout hosted on Digital-Pumpkin.net.  It was the first to utilize php.  The 2.0 version had a pink background as shown in the screenshot.  In the 2.1 version the layout was the same, but the background color changed to a cream.  I had originally thought I'd do a pixel layout for ImOrca.nu, but after I got started, even the tiny icons I planned to use to represent the links to my sites were a big challenge.  Instead I opted to use the icons on Identify.   Since the stuff on the site were things I "collected", I thought the charm bracelet idea would be fun.  In this layout, I tried to keep the icons separate from the bracelet by using a tables format.  It never quite lined up as I hoped.  Font: Unsure.

This was the first layout when I put all the joined stuff into it's own combination site.  It scrolled right to left.  It utilized Zodiastic and Verdana fonts, and a table layout.  This version was hosted on ImOrca.nu, 'cause that's the only domain I had then.

I think site maps should be a plain as possible, so this one is.  I put up one of my favorite recipes as a bonus.  Font: Verdana.

This featured an image by Sam Fraulino.  I can't take much credit for the layout, as it was a php script by Jenny Ferenc.  I did put in the image, title, update script, and links at the bottom, so some of it's mine, I guess. Font: Blackadder ITC.
